Hello Lovely Cork Co. is a Vancouver Island-based jewellery designer who uses cork to create beautiful and sustainable designs. They use hand printed sheets of cork to create their lightweight signature earrings and necklaces.
Shedding Some Light on Design
We completely reimagined Hello Lovely Cork Co’s existing Shopify site with a sophisticated but playful new colour palette and upgraded them to a premium theme with custom CSS updates. The theme was then further customized to allow for more functionality and custom pages specifically designed to tell the Plum Tree Handmade story.
The home page showcases some of their most popular handmade jewellery, along with showcasing some of their most-popular designs and links to their About and About Cork pages. Product collections were showcased so customers have multiple ways to shop new and favourite products.
Custom Product Pages
Enriched product information
Custom product pages are enriched with metafields to show off key information for customers.
With a wide range of colours and patterns, these customizations are vital to display more than a plain product description. Additional information like materials, dimensions and key features of cork are featured on every product page.
A New Way to Sell B2B
Hello Lovely Cork Co. needed a better way to sell directly to wholesale customers, so we created a custom B2B portal for new and existing retailers. Wholesale pricing and minimums were set to make placing orders as simple as possible.
We included their specific terms and conditions on the wholesale page, as well as designed a custom wholesale application form for new customers

The existing product descriptions were streamlined to enhance SEO. To optimize the UX design of product pages, any additional product information was migrated into metafields to make the shopping experience more enjoyable. We also showcased the top product features on specific products pages.

We researched and installed a premium theme, which was carefully customized to match Hello Lovely Cork Co.’s updated branding.
To showcase their commitment to sustainability, we created custom pages displaying their story, the benefits of cork and showcased these features throughout the website.
Jessica and her team were absolutely amazing to work with. They were able to take the vision in my head and make it a reality in a really lovely way. I love my new website, and can't wait to work with them again!
