A New Vision

We completely updated CJI’s existing Wordpress site with updated branding and a fresh new colour palette. We used the new look of Community Justice Initiatives to build a site that perfectly compliments their organization.

We built new wireframes and prototypes to ensure the site flowed perfectly across all pages. Accessibility was paramount to creating the new site and we adhered to strict AODA guidelines and WCAG standards.

From Wireframes to Wordpress

We built custom wireframes in Figma to inform the design and functionality of the new CJI website. Our goal was to build a site that was easy to navigate for different users and spoke to the Community Justice Initiatives organization.

From the initial wireframes, we further refined our designs by building high-fidelity prototypes. We refined our prototypes through 3 versions with the final version presented to the stakeholders for approval.

A New Way to Navigate

We designed a new sitemap using UX best practices and new user personas to streamline CJI’s site navigation. It was paramount that different types of users could quickly and intuitively find the information they needed.

The new website features a mega navigation menu with drop-downs to the most important pages based on the new hierarchy we created.
